JBL Sintomec

JBL Sintomec is a highly porous biological filter medium made from high-quality sintered glass rings. It is designed for intensive long-term biological filtration in both freshwater and marine aquariums.

The special conical tunnel pore structure and 5 mm wall thickness provide ideal conditions for beneficial micro-organisms. This supports the efficient breakdown of ammonium and nitrite, and under reduced flow conditions, also nitrate, resulting in excellent water quality.
